Bachelor’s Degree in Flute by USP. Took classes with Odette Ernest Dias, Mathias Allin, Rogério Wolf, Toninho Carrasqueira, among others. Performed alongside Hamilton de Holanda, João Paraíba, Sizão Machado, Egberto Gismonti, Celso Viáfora, Olívia Byington, Wilson das Neves, Moacyr Luz, Luiz Carlos da Vila and Ademilde Fonseca.

Recorded more than 50 albums with ‘Izaías e seus chorões,’ Fabio Torres, Germano Mathias, Kátya Teixeira, D. Inah, among others.

Since 2000, plunged into choro, leaving his mark on São Paulo gigs, with his particular and challenging way of playing, mixing classical technique in the performance of popular music.
